When does procrastination become work?

Yesterday I was procrastinating in the worst way. When I procrastinate I tend to resort to following random links on the internet. Sometimes you uncover really amazing things which you must share with the world. (Then all your friends know you are trying to avoid work).

One of my chains started off on Geekologie which took me to one of their sister sites and there I saw a link for "26 People You Probably Didn’t Know Were Scientologists" on BuzzFeed. Oh, why not? So I clicked, scrolled and spotted.

In this screencap, from some movie with Ethan Suplee, I spotted an IKEA cd cabinet. What is the name of the movie? And the cabinet? I consider this a good test of my deductive skills, solving puzzles keeping my brain sharp. Some people like their Sudoku others IKEA spot. I may not have been doing the work I was supposed to but I spotted something for my blog which means I swung back into productivity, right? Sure.

I used my Google skills to find the name of the cd cabinet. It is the discontinued BLISTA.

Then, I moseyed on over to IMDB to cross reference the information I had based on the photo and came up with  The Butterfly Effect. There you go. In a bedroom in the movie The Butterfly Effect starring Ashton Kutcher & Ethan Suplee is a BLISTA cd cabinet (discontinued) from IKEA.

Now that I had all the information for a blog post I still managed to put off writing it up until this morning! Super double procrastination.

  1. My dad used to have that CD cabinet. It sadly made friends with the trash in the move.
